"Is this good to take?"

Have you ever had to phone call that is requesting to know if a medication is still good?

You of course ask the basic question..."What does the expiration on the bottle say?"

During the past couple of days, I've had a couple of whoppers...

One woman brings in a Flonase and Vicodin that she bought TWO years ago, wondering if she could "exchange" them. I kindly explain our policy that we don't take medications back after they leave the counter...."I've never even opened the box!!!" ....Then why on Earth do you want a new freaking bottle????

Then today I had an older couple bring in a WHOLE bag of drugs...Vicodin, Peridex, Amoxicillin...dated from 2001!!!! At least they didn't ask for a refund....
